Dr Menon does not see patients under 18 years of age, or patients with the following conditions:

  • Cognitive disorders

  • Developmental disorders

  • Schizophrenia


Initial assessment

  1. Usually spans 2 appointments, each about one hour
  2. Letter addressed to the referrer

    3. Management recommendations
    4. Usually ongoing follow-up appointments
    5. Often additional referral to clinical psychology
    6. Clear advice and suggestions to the referrer

Integrated Multidisciplinary Model

Dr Menon works in a solo private practice located at Perth Specialist Centre (PSC).

A variety of other medical specialists work at the PSC

The PSC is housed within the Cockburn Health and Community Facility that contains a very wide range of private and public health services working together to offer coordinated health care.

Dr Menon will have admitting rights to one of the psychiatric hospitals in Perth. She does not follow patients up while hospitalised. She will be able to facilitate an admission under the care of a psychiatrist colleague, and on discharge she can continue follow up if the patient so chooses.
